Thomas Bumblepenny is Ebenezer and Prudence's hardworking son. Kind-hearted, dependable, and always ready to lend a hand, he's inherited his father's gentle nature and his mother's determination.
Margaret is Thomas's devoted wife. Quiet by nature and endlessly patient, she's the calm, loving heart of this bustling young family and somehow manages to keep everyone moving in the same direction—most of the time.
William, the eldest at five years old, believes every day is an adventure waiting to happen. Curious, fearless, and forever asking "Why?", he's usually the first to discover anything interesting... and occasionally the first to find trouble.
The three-year-old triplets are a whirlwind of muddy boots, endless laughter, and boundless energy. Together they're delightfully mischievous, wonderfully inseparable, and almost impossible to keep track of for more than a few minutes. Herding cats comes to mind.
Baby Rose is the newest member of the family. Content to watch the excitement from the safety of loving arms, she has everyone completely wrapped around her tiny little finger.
And then there's the puppy... an enthusiastic young spaniel who greets every person, chicken, butterfly, puddle, and unexplored corner of the farm as the greatest discovery in the history of dogs. His tail never seems to stop wagging, and wherever the children go, he's never far behind. His name is 'Pickle'
